All over the world, gadgets make people behave in different ways. And sometimes, these ways are curious insights into the minds of disparate cultures. For instance, though the mobile phone arrived in the US long before it did in India, Americans took very long to warm up to text messages(SMS).

Considering an Indian's compulsions to do something in a flight, LG ,NOKIA and SONYERICSSON has recently introduced the in-flight mode in their cell phones, where passengers can play games and listen to MP3s while on the plane without going into communication mode. But what most cell companies truly love is the tendency among Indians, to carry two cell phones. Two billion phones is an alluring prospect.
